Breathe Poem by Chris Purser

Breathe

Twilight
on fuchsia fields -
and tangerine tears fall
from failed forever fantasies,
dimmed.

Breathe in
beautiful breezes -
Heaven’s calming caress
wafts on wind whispers of waltzing
zephyr.

Day breaks
love’s light blushes -
bright blue beginnings search
sapphire souls for chimera’s chance,
dawning.

Droplets
of liquid sunshine -
strawberry sprinkles from
snow cone skies, cotton candy clouds
drizzle.

Romance
rejuvenates -
riding rouge ripples from
raspberry rainbows, pure purple
passion.
