Broken - Poem by Roxy Roader

As each piece falls
the pain is stabbing
deep into me.
One thing said,
another done,
more pieces fall
and the pain is internal.
Holding my last piece,
worshipping it
as if my only savoir.
Before it to falls,
my pain eternal,
I would be broken.
