Broken Friendship - Poem by kathryn _xo

as it all went out the window
as it all went up in flames
as every tear was shed
as we always moved the blame

first everything was perfect
first we never fought
we were such great friends we made them sick
nothing could ever pull us apart

our friendship was unbreakable
we thought it wouldnt end
noone ever knows
why they lose their very best friend

all of a sudden you were gone
in a slew of tears and screams
everything was over
i guess we werent as close as we seemed

i am sorry i said the things i said
but what you said was worse
' i dont want to be your friends okay'
i wasnt going to scream: i wasnt going to curse

you have the right to what you want
you have the right to hate me
you have the right to blow me off
you have the right to leave me

but theres one thing your missing
one thing you dont have
you dont have a reason
to treat me how you have

you dont know what id give
to have that feeling one more time
to have that feeling i get every time we talk
id give my every dime

i dont know if you feel the same
i hope to God you do
please please give me one more chance
to again be a best friend to you

i love you like my sister
but i just wish that you could see
soo how much i wish i could take it back
so our friendship could be how it used to be

ive forgiven you for everything
and i always will
i hope that you realize
how strongly abotu this i feel

i am pouring out my heart and soul
so i can explain everything
im begging you withall my heart
please dont let this be all for nothing!
