Brother Poem by Fernando Alvarez

Alone in the world,
As tears came into his eyes.
Nobody cared,
He wanted to die.
He wanted to get out of this world.
He wanted to cry.
He thought no one would miss him
If he was to die.
'What should I do'
He asked day after day.
'Should I leave this awful place,
Or should I just stay?
He silently screamed.
He needed attention.
For someone to show him,
Love or affection.
He became different.
Stayed away from his friends.
The only thing he wanted
Was for his life to finally end.
He made a decision,
Maybe not the right choice.
He was in so much pain,
He couldn't make a noise.
He ended his life,
At a very young age.
He thought it was terrible
So he stepped off the stage.
He was loved by all.
He didn't know they showed it.
He blocked it all out.
He didn't even know it.
It was too late now,
To take his action back.
He ended his life.
It was over, like that.
