Burden - Poem by kaylee coates

I am a burden on people
I split them apart
And cast them against themselves
I have split up my family
And my friends
I have even split up strangers without ever knowing
I cannot stop this I wish I could
But I have no choice
Except to live.

    we're all struggling
    for that perfect togetherness
    and day after day
    better or worse
    the struggle continues
    a fine poem
