Business As Usual Poem by Richard Jarboe

Business As Usual

Rating: 3.5

Business as usual will be coming back soon,
Say goodbye to the sun, say goodbye to the moon,
The sky over China will disappear,
And India will re-polute by the end of the year.

Business as usual, there goes the water,
But the numbers say everything's fine,
Full employment is the ultimate goal,
A bigger traffic jam is just a matter of time.

Business as usual, hussel-bussel on the go,
Is there a better way; the answer is no,
But have faith and wish upon a star,
Don't worry about extinction, buy gas for your car.

There is no alternative but to stay positive. The business will go as usual and people will come out. Nice poem. 'But have faith and wish upon a star, Don't worry about extinction, buy gas for your car.'... is so nice and true. Thanks for sharing.
