By The Bay Poem by Todd Michael Cusato-Millar

By The Bay

On certain days i'm found playing in her tides
she begins to feel nervous and quickly turns to run and hide
I surf her sea of emotion and play in her swells
I walk her beaches often and slowly collect her shells
Do you even realize your eyes dance when you laugh
they seem to pierce my soul even thruphotographs
I often wonder does your hair still smell like summer rain
as it falls on your shoulder but it never falls in vain
hopelessly lost in her current capsized in her waves
the moon lays in her waters and the sun rises in her bay
tonight i dive deep into her waters searching for clues
searching for answers searching for you

A beautifully crafted write about nature. Your words pull me to go through the piece.
