Caused My Pain - Poem by Stephen Townsend

Sadness in my heart.
No where to turn.
It will all end soon.

In my hand.
A blade to puncture the skin.
Against my skin.
One swift pull.
Shall end my life.

What shall I do?
I cant handle the pressure.
Its forcing the knife.

Crimson Blood.
Crimson Blood.

Thats all that is seen.

Knife became red.
The color of my soul.

Pressure you caused.
Caused my scar.

I want to scream.
How shall I die?
Knife against my throat.

Shall this succeed

My eyes cry tears.
Red have they become.
My lifes at an end.

Pressure is caused again.
Knife upon the skin.
Crimson blood is all that can be held.

This is the day your pressure
Caused me to go to far.
I didn’t want this but I say no other.
