Change - Poem by Semeen Sultan

Miles and miles its travelled
Past mountain lakes
Torn from the sky
Cupped in jagged peaks
Through forests deep
Dipping whirling twirling
Like an ecstatic derwish
Dancing across ripe golden plains
Skimming along rich autumnal seas
Rapturous in its descent
To lift away the burning hallucinations of summer
This wind.
