Change - Poem by Fiona O'Connor

The line of ships
move as one
unwavering
Oh, only one must get through
the passage
and sail on!
to glory and wonder
Oh, If only one would continue
continue through the battle
they're losing ground
five remain
they fight through the water
the seas
the ocean
they diligently
try
but one remains
and retreats
oh why must we all
turn away
from good
from new
oh why must we turn
from change?

This is awesome! The metaphors are great. I saw your comment on 'Dreams' by Langston Hughes so I decided to see some of yours. If I put up some, come check out mine. (Report) Reply
