Chirp Little More - Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul

Oh dear sparrow, you chirp
At this early morning I call
You weak up and chirp soon,
Little more you sing nicely.

Let us sit near this tree
In my lovely garden I wait
You come and see ripen fruits
Be happy with me to recite.

Poems I have written on leaf
You come on recite God's name
Fresh morning is full of rays
Feathers you sprinkle little.

Chirp little more to fill mind
In joy of life sun smiles sure
Dance a little on branches here
Go on flying up to so far sky.

lovely sparrow chirps and delights the soul. Let us protect the sparrow. Their population is dwindling with use of pesticides and chemicals. Without sparrow one path to God may be closed. Beautiful poem. (Report) Reply
