Christine - Poem by Shane Delaney

If I could only have one love it would be you
My love for you runs so deep it hurts sometimes
With your soft lips feels like a butterfly kisses
Your big brown eyes that I can get lost in for days
Hair long and beautifully, in the light it looks to be on fire
Your smile so bright it lights up my life
Your heart as big as it is
Is the place I want to be?
To be loved by you is what I long for
For us to be as one
Two hearts in love that beat as one
Standing side by side fighting life’s battles
I want no other no other could be you
You are my only true love and I yours for many years to come
When we are old and gray we will look back at this day and say this was the happiest day of your lives.
If I could only have one love it would be you Christine
