Christmas Poem by Naomi Waters

Christmas

Twinkling stars
Swirling snow
Things that some may never know
Keeping secrets
Buying Wrapping
Hanging stockings
Gathering wood
Telling them santa will come
Lights on the tree
Making snowmen
Telling stories
Waiting
Waiting
Waiting
Morning comes
Excitment in the air
Seeing the tree
Seeing the presents
Screaming how santa
Ate the cookies
And drank the milk
Opening gifts
Playing
Singing
Celebrating one another
The day ends
Night comes
Making sure to cherish each memory
For you never know how many more
You will have
