Circles Poem by Caylin Paige

Circles

The sound is blurry
The color is all off
I had lost myself
While trying to drown you out
There was no escape
This place always called your name

Hope always seems to evaporate
When you look at me that way
Stuck in this game you and I seem to play
This castle of years we have built
Will come tumbling down I can see it
The miles we have traveled to end up right back here

Now this is what I fear
Have we wasted our precious little bit of time?
Standing around pointing fingers
Asking can you walk that line?
The truth is hard to swallow

Don't be scared
Let go my friend
We may have just reached our end...
