Clocks Went Back Today... - Poem by GRANT FRASER

I missed it somehow,
out of bed, couldn't
find me,

until I was on the beach,

and a guy with tripod,
showing me what he had:

'yow-missed-the straberry-candy-stripez! ',

but I did get one,
just une....

so I followed the Sun up
the coast,

but needed to shit badly,
like straightaway...

so I went under one
of the railway archs,

among the brick ruins
where some old far cottage
stood,

and hand picked some
very very very dry leaves,

yeah! that's part of the business,

and I felt just the Viking
guy, in what I think is called
' Severed Head',
anyway it was very similar....

and I felt quite rustic
very true about nature....

so there!

without any stripes at all...
