Close Your Eyes, Dream - Poem by Bilal AbuKhudair

Opening words of the author: The title of the following words is refering to all the pains that we suffered from who punished, killed and occupied us unfairly and saucily, but we always dream about better situation and promising future which will take us to world of the safety and security
” Children “…

Close Your Eyes, Dream

When you close your eyes
imagine that you’re free

Playing among flowers,
roses and trees

With charming looking for
a sky where pure space

Stars which far away
shining like a pearls

Horizon’s glance is clear
beautiful in the scene

This show is very great
drawn by nice dreams

But we’re now in these days
surrounded by the hate

My brother, sister and mother
were massacred and died

Where all of my rights
lost with a big of neglects

How can find ourselves
forgotten forever with fear

We’re souls of children angels
we have not to get the blames

Protection is priority of high
the nation has to give

Safety of beautiful homes
we need it everyday

The warmness and the kindness
the promising eyes with dream
