Deirdre Devina

Cold - Poem by Deirdre Devina

The darkness is cold
It's closing in on me
It has started to rain
I'm almost where I should be
My eyes turn black
As black as the night
All I see is darkness
Not a human in sight
I am where I belong
A child of the moon
You better be gone
Or you'll join me soon
