Cold Poem by brads brads

Cold

The coldness is back in my veins,
As cold as a lonely desert,
The icy chill around my soul,
I can’t carry on, I back where I belong,

No body can see, not even you,
What this life is doing to me,
I’m carrying the weight of a swollen heart,
No one to take the load or share with me,

Stranded again in the spotlight,
Ill see the moon for just one more day,
Ill bleed dry beneath the morning sky,
Chemicals in my brain left me high,

This is good bye, for whoever cares,
The journey stops today, like other days,
No more travelling, no more dreams,
Not even from my grave, my soul will remain,

Should I be missed it won’t be for long,
Nobody knows me, not even I did,
Only when its there time, to stand in my shoes,
The only thing I’m good at is being sad,

Knowledge is not experience,
Experience is life of misery,
Travel a life time in my shoes,
See how far you would have got.

Vodka will help us forget
10,000mg will take away then pain
The flowing of my wrists will release the strain
The lack of heart, will bring no tears from my brain

The question is now,
Who will find me? ,
How long will it take? ,
Ill brush my teeth, then you’ll know.

this is kind of interesting....there is still a desire in there to live the experience that is life, yet you write as if giving up...why walk away when there is still so much to say...I quite like this piece...nice work.
