Color - Poem by jeannie schmidt

It's not the color of one's skin
It's the kindness within their heart
That makes one special to all the world
For everyone in this world counts
People need not judge, by the color of ones skin
If they do, they'll never know the joy that comes from within
All god's children were put here for a purpose in life
You need to look beyond the body and look at the soul inside
Love that soul and cherish it, for one day you will see
All will be together in the very end,
No matter what color they may be
