Comforter - Poem by Julie Njoki
Sittin here wit th skies so clear,
wipin away jst 1 last tear,
blankly starin @ ur beautiful moonlike eyes,
oh wat i wld give 2 alwyz hv u so near.
Gently i lay my head on ur shoulders,
closin my eyes n lettin th wind blow away th past tht got me sinkin,
i smile 2 myself as i feel ur warm breath on my skin.
I wish al days were alwyz lyk this,
jst lyin under th sun n watchin butterflies,
with nthng in th world 2 gv us worries,
bt havin u so close is better than al these thngs,
bcz u make me hope for wat is to come wen you give me ur name.
