Commuted Sentences

A thought has recently occurred to me
Which I don’t believe can be disputed.
It seems the Governor must think a lot about me
Because all my sentences get commuted.

I get interrupted whenever I talk
Before an idea hardly commences..
I end up saying a whole lot of sents
But I ‘m left with a large number of ences.

So here I am, whenever I begin to converse
It makes no difference whether its stranger or friend.
I have no problem saying the start,
But I just can’t seem to get to an end.

Throughout all the times that I have been cut off
And I’m sure they are measured in myriads
Without ever ending a sentence I find,
That I have accrued a real large pile of periods.

Since I’m not talking I can come to an end,
So it’s time for me to break off with a big smile.
Because not only have I finished my thought,
But I can finally get rid of some of my pile……
