Confused - Poem by Monet Bell

When I look into your eyes
I realize;
But yet ignore the truth
My feelings and thoughts for you
The attention and admiration;
Shared between the two
The bond that’s unknown
Attraction unseen
The words untold
What does all this really mean?
Is it me or my mind?
Moving too fast or left behind?
I don’t know;
I’m so confused
I feel tangled and intertwined
While my mind is wrestling with you
Tell me what you know
I tell you what I feel
Every time we intersect
Our faces reveal what’s real
The glow and emotion;
Takes me to higher heights
I’ve never felt so far up;
Never been on this flight
So I make things up to cover up and play around
But now I feel that you know
Like everything’s hit solid ground
Are you okay with what I say?
Or is no, no, sorry, too late?
I’m sorry to say
But this is what’s real
And as the days go by
Every piece is being revealed
Your eyes I can’t fight
Neither can I hide
They front me out everywhere
Even in disguise
Your smile of adoration and attraction;
Can take me to the moon
What can I say?
What does it mean?
….Can’t say, I’m still confused!
