Confusion - Poem by Chelsea Kulesha

I love you, I hate you, I'm so confused!

Who am I to like them all,
To claim them as my own?
When half of them don't know I'm here,
Or don't really seem to care.

They look your way
Then look away,
Not seeming
To care at all.
Who knows what could be going on
Inside of alien heads.

And half of them
Can't be called men,
Not even guys,
But boys of elementary.
'love' he says
And then you see,
He's hold hands
With a girl,
A girl that should be me.

He looks your way
Then looks away,
No
You were never there.

He loves the way
Your shorts are short
The way you let him
Check you out.
But when someone better
Sluttier
Comes along
It's broken, that bond.

You find your mister right
Or so it seems
And he finds out,
That 'man of your dreams'
And now he's not talking to you.
Oh, the way he ignores you
And flirts with other girls
And how he trys to fill you
With remorse.
Then you finally break up
And he knows all about that too.
You tell him, and hug him
But no.
His excuse?
'I have a girlfriend'
just to put you through
what he went through,
and it only makes it worse.
You want him more,
You need him more,
But you hate him more as well.
