Confusion - Poem by Lpq Liu

Gazing around my room,
Copious stuff I own,
Consider myself fortunate when comparing to those I know

But is this what I really need?
Growing up, wanting everything is what I have,
Needing everything is what I don’t have,
Can’t anyone imagine how my life is?

Wrong impression is what many gets,
Overwhelming of loneliness and desolation is how I feel,
I do consider myself lucky, but it is tough being in my show

Contemplating my serene room,
Ethereal music played throughout the days,
Frittering time as seconds goes by,
Rotten like an apple, acting like a lost puppy?

My dreams are shattered,
The culprit whom is MOI!
Regrets and remorse overcomes me, day by day,
There ought to have another opening to diverse prospect
