Counting Sheep

Poem by Ronald Chapman

Baa, Baa, Baa.
I can not sleep!
Where are you little sheep?
I hear you.
Boo! Boo!
I see you peeking in my bedroom window.

Baa, Baa, Baa.
I can not sleep!
Chasing, chasing sheep!
Round and round my farm.
I send them into the red barn.

Baa, Baa, Baa.
Puffy sheep cry.
One little, two little, three little white sheep,
I see.

Baa, Baa, Baa,
Baa, Baa, Baa.
Puffy sheep cry,
Four little, five little, six little white sheep,
I see...

''Cock-a-doodle-doo! '
Rooster crows.
Where did the sheep all go?
