Country Lane Poem by james watkin

Country Lane

Child of the thoroughfares
Allowed to wander.
To scurry off with the hares;
Followed of me down.

Craved; thrived in; bend on bend
This gentle bonding.
Through a shared peace, to the end
Kingcup's; cow's; of brown.
