Cowboy Pete - Poem by Randy Lane

I got a few things I'd like to vent
about this cowboy on the Quarle's Ranch
while ridin' his paint and runnin' fence
from his saddle he fell while duckin' a branch
Well you could hear him a mile away
as he took to the ground in his Levi jeans
shakin' the muck and mire from himself
verbalizin' words that could only be obscene
He's normally quite a shy man
‘til he fell and landed on his seat
fallen from grace with his face bright red
a man of many talents - good ole Cowboy Pete
