Cremation Costs Poem by O Anna Niemus

Cremation Costs

Birds, pigs, cows, lambs whether raised on factory or
free range farms end up, nearly all of them,
being roasted or fried or shoved into an oven.
Why is it that it costs a few cents to broil
the cadaver of a murdered bird, but cremation
cartels charge hundreds or thousands to shove
human cadavers into an oven?

***************
In my town the cheapest cremation is $810 and a more
expensive one is $2200

What annoyed me was that the Funeral Home said, No we couldn't donate the coffin to some needy folks after it gets used for the wake, it is a 'Health and Safety issue'! Like the next dead person is gonna catch a disease from it! So, it went to the crematorium as well. Ridiculous.-chuck
