Cricketing - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Cricketing - Lincoln Park Zoo

I'm a pygmy slow loris who
Is very slowly climbing 'round,
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo,
Cuz on a cricket hunt I'm bound.
The keepers let some crickets loose,
And I'm bound and determined that
My keen hunting skills will produce
Crickets caught in my habitat.
And when the crickets are caught, I
Will proceed to have them for lunch,
Cuz tasty crickets do supply
Me with the munchies by the bunch.

Even though slow I guarantee
Crickets can't get away from me.
