Cure: Throw Your Head Back! - Poem by Christy Overton

Perfect? Far from it.
Always Right? I'll never be.
Make everyone happy? It will never happen.
Ms. America title? A crown I may never see.

But I've learned that life is nothing but a vapor and
to cherish every day here that I have.
To savor the flavor served by the Divine Creator
and to throw my head back and laugh!

I Laugh when I trip or when I fall on my face.
I Laugh at the corn on my 3rd toe.
I Laugh at my dresses that choose to shrink.
I Laugh for reasons I don't even know!

Laugh through your trials because your coming out soon.
No more days of depression, 'I'm going through.'
God said He wouldn't put more on you than you could Bare.
So smile child! The Lord is with you!

We may not understand the plan of God.
Our thoughts and ways are so far from His.
The Lord giveth and it is He who taketh away
so there's a reason He told you to live.

Happy are we who are God's children
our good days outweigh the bad.
So when your best friend falls, and after you help him/her up.
You both throw your heads back and just.........
LAUGH! !
