Déjà Vu Once More - Poem by Darien Dai

This feeling, it’s…it’s like déjà vu isn’t it?

Going to a house where you felt like you were home?
But you hadn't ever been there, at least not that you'd known.
Having met a stranger, with a real familiar face?
As if you had once known them, some other time, some other place.
Having walked down an unfamiliar road?
But felt that upon it, you had once stridden.

Experiencing a certain moment with familiarity
Remembering the moment with such clarity

Have you ever had the feeling, that you've lived a life before?
You can feel the chill in your bones, right to your very core.
Who can say for certain, that we don't have multiple lives?
And though a body may perish, it has a soul that survives.
Is it possible our lives are stuck in a hoop?
A continuous cycle, an endless loop?

This feeling, it’s…it’s like déjà vu isn’t it?
