Daddy's Little Girl

Daddy's little girl
I wanted to be
Pretty like Mama,
Brave like my Pa.
Now my dreams are all gone-
Illusions more like-
Flimsy memories
Struck down by
Fear and anger,
So much dissapointment
It doesnt fit the word.
They say you don't know
What you've got til its gone.
What do you have left?
You should call
Even if you have nothing to say.
I feel like so stupid
Making excuses of why
You're not around.
I miss you so,
Daddy, where'd you go?
I'm tired of sitting and hating
Waiting for you
To grow up.
I want you to know
This situation you have made
is so fucked up.
But I'm doing fine
And I'll keep it that way.
I've had it with you,
If you come back
I wont be here.
Then you can ask,
Where'd you go?
