Damned For Eternity - Poem by Orlando Belo
There is a twelve-year old boy,
standing under the Speaker Tree.
Telling those that are listening,
how the future will be.
He's talking in detail about tomorrow,
and many years from now.
He appears to have an understanding,
and describes, where, when, and how.
There is no one standing with him,
he's just a child talking on his own.
Nobody is coaching him with information,
nor is he using a tablet, or phone.
His voice is precise, clear, and perfect,
and he refers to matters beyond his years.
His knowledge of the world is astonishing,
as he warns of events, far away and near.
This boy is someone unusual and special,
he seems to understand the real and surreal.
He talks like a prophet from yesteryear,
and is full of passion, sincerity, and zeal.
Not everything is about gloom and doom, and disaster,
there is good for nature and for humanity.
Weather will improve for farmers all over the world,
and extremist clerics, and politicians, will be damned for eternity.
