Dance Floor - Poem by Gordon Jerome

It's out on the floor while we're dancing
that I try my best at romancing
for there my pride you feed
as over the dance floor I lead
the woman I find so entrancing

As she dances in the light ever bold
I find her beauty a joy to behold
I doubt I ever shall see
what drew her to me
if I live to be a century old.
