I hear the purling of the rain
And I rush out to feel the rain
Rain drops drench me ease,
I shiver like the flowers in winter breeze
My thoughts are all frozen with joy anew,
Like leaves of tree with honeydew,
Rain cools all the blaze that ever existed,
My soul seems to be quenched,
Just as the Earth smells best when drenched;
As raindrops fall on grass,
Frozen thoughts steadily pass;
Sky delumes again with bright Sunshine,
Rainbow flashes in the horizon, colours refine;
It reminds me of the dancing peacock
I may not dance like the peacock,
Dancing is still a joyous way to rock;
It's like whistling in the rain,
Not to be heard by any, in vain;
I relish the refreshing freshness,
My heart sings about the Nature's Divineness.
I smile at the passing moment and whistle along
Rain may have stopped but the joy will last for long.
