Dark Abyss - Poem by Scarred Unknown

Dark abyss,
Circling around me.
Just breathe,
Remember the steps.
One, two, three.
Feel that pain?
Remember good things!
It’ll be ok!
I won’t die!
I can get through it!
It’s happened before…
Circles me,
Consumes me.
Frown to the ground
Remember to breathe…
One, two, three,
It’ll be ok.

Take them…
One it’ll be ok.
Two breathe again.
Three find something bright.
Just remember,
Don’t let it consume you…
It’ll be ok.
I won’t go,
I wont’ go again,
To that dark abyss.

I’m scared.
I’ll admit.
What will I do
If it gets me?
What if it gets me?
What if it takes out the light?
What if?
What if I don’t
Make it through this time?
What do I do?
What... One
Two three

Very evocative and disturbing to those
    who suffer from depression.
