Dark Light - Poem by Nodoka Jenkins

I look through the deepest darkness
And find a light
High and vibrant
Bursting with light

I see a smile within your frown
I am happy within I am sad
Intertwined with eachother
Fighting eachother for dominance

In this mad rage I watch
All it's flaws leaking to the floor
I watch how imperfect they are
So much like a human

Sucked into war
The dark and the light begining to consume eachother
And I think, do they know
How important to each other they are

Do they know
How they need one another to keep balance
I look and know - the one thing that would help them understand
To know - they would immediately stop

They need each other...
Light and Dark
Not good and evil
But more like

Bal and Ance
