Dark Winter 17-21 Poem by Tim Labbe

A Dark
Winter came,
as they said
it would.
Dressed as
a Snake,
in a KKK Hood.

'Those people',
He said,
were the ones
to blame.
Enabling HIS
followers,
their chants of
'Jews will
not replace us',
rang out in the
cloak of night.
Their torches,
spasmed wildly.
Convulsive flames
emulated HIS
radical, zealots
irrational behavior.

Words such as
'Hoax' and 'Fraud'
filled HIS limited,
lying verbiage.
HIS followers
eagerly, and often
repeated the lie.

Encouraging the
MONSTER.

HE, and them,
were THE monster.

The ENTITLED.

Other faiths,
Other races,
Other loves,
Other ideas,
and even other
genders, had
no place in their
narrow-minded,
ignorant world.

So they killed
Heather Heyer,
and injured many
other peaceful,
tolerant protesters.

In the aftermath
HE said
'there were very fine
people on both sides.'

I wonder which one
of HIS racist, anti-Semitics
were the 'very fine people.'

Probably the ones that donated
to his racist, anti-Semitic campaign.
And the women who felt they needed
more misogyny in their life.

HIS Nazi father would have been very
proud that his son became President,
fueled by the families hate-filled tradition.
