Crazylady Weirdo

Darkness - Poem by Crazylady Weirdo

If I could,
I’d run away,
And leave you in the dark.
Alone in the world
As life leaves the sky
And night falls to the earth
Like a plague sent from above.
Let the darkness swallow you up.
Now you know how I’ve felt for so long.
I, too, have been trapped in the dark.
