Dear Elijah, - Poem by Shanice Davis

Hey lil gangsta I miss you very much
I never meant to hurt you or separate us
I miss the lil things about you like your walk, your talk, and your laugh
When I get out this place will be a thing of the past
I want you to meet somebody they are sweet as can be
But she's locked up so we gotta break her out you see
She might be locked up still but that's gonna be ok
Cause we'll come to visit her every other day
I'll make sure this never happens again
Because I'm hurting and teasing you like some grimy old friend
I always meant to be there for you
But I guess I kinda failed
I'm a bad ass aunt that deserves to go to jail
