Dear Man... Dear Dorian Gray Poem by Marwa Rakha

Dear Man... Dear Dorian Gray

Dear Dorian Gray

Once upon a time
In the holy crucible of creation
God mixed the spirits of Dr. Hanibal Lecter and Count Dracula
And you were born

In a pitch black sky
When the moon comes full circle
I feel your presence with me and around me
I am reborn

Like the myth you are
There is something mystical about your presence
Wrap me up within your soul
I am yours

Devour me
Suck the life out of me
Consume me in that sexy freakiness of your aura
We are alike

Into my life let me welcome you
I feel anxious
A mixture of fear and excitement
Hello!
