Death Poem by Min Sia

Death

Rating: 4.9

I'm the truth living inside you
So don't hide, so don't cry.
I lay inside you since then.
Can you feel me in your arms?

I'm your freedom.
For no one's left to save you.
Soon darkness will spread all over.
Embracing what you've left behind.

Forget this life, come with me.
Hold my hand and don't look back.
Unlock your heart, open your gate.
I'll lay rest upon your soul.

Let the silence begin.
Allowance of life be denied.
Peace is now in access.
And play in the field of innocence.

Death need not be feared...it certainly is not when brought forth from the tip of Min Sia’s pen. Death I do not fear if I am lead through engulf in the darkness. A marvelous, marvelous poem!

Very nicely written. I agree with you in many respects, but I don't necessarily things that death's invitation is so urgent. I hope you will read my poem, 'Death' and compare.

Min, you have captured death in the most friendlier way i have never thought. It surely makes any finite soul courageous to face it. I don't think i still have a reason to fear it. Thanks for great work here. Keep it up.
