Death - Poem by Angel Croshier

I saw you holding
My broken body
Crying, then wailing
Then screaming.
You wouldn't let
anyone one near my body
As you cradled it
In your loving arms
There was nothing
You could have done.
Even in death
Our our love lives on
No kiss will bring me
back, no matter
how much you love me.
I'm gone forever but
Don't let death
kill our love.
