Death In Sleep - Poem by Rachael Belle Myers

I close my eyes and hope I stay
Alone forever to rest dismay
Those lies and truths don't matter here
A place that never knows my fear.

I want to sleep forever now
And have a dreamless sleep somehow,
The closest thing to death, who knew
That dying is all I wish to do
