Might is always deemed as right! This is the jungle law....! Here the fittest survive! Despite all precautions taken for safety the poor sow was cruelly hunted down! The description is so natural and lucid that one can visualize the whole scene so vividly! The lines Bri has chosen are my favorite too! This I must call a classic write that deserves top marks!

more favorite lines: She dashed on desperately, till pain and exhaustion took its toll Then stopped and faced her attackers, after making it to a knoll The dogs salivated profusely, sensing an imminent kill They then closed in like a lynching mob, long before the sow was still...very NICE! (not for pig) to MyPoemList bri :)

herd of pigs? maybe. i shall now shall from my VAST KNOWLEDGE (thanks to Google) : The name for a group of pigs depends on the animals' ages. A group of young pigs is called a drift, drove or litter. Groups of older pigs are called a sounder of swine, a team or passel of hogs or a singular of boars. favorite lines so far: Rooting contently, they headed home to the safety of their lair But left a trail dangerously clear, their smell hanging in the air ...................OOPS! : (

Nature is blind, sometimes it's pleasant but sometimes very unpleasant.
