Delusional Dreams - Poem by Razorblade Kiss

Hold on to me,
Just a little longer,
We need redemption,
But for now,
We have each other.

How long is 'now'?
How long is 'forever'?
When you finally leave,
You will take my heart,
Burdened,
By the black stone.

You will leave me breathless,
And leave me cold,
The warmth you gave me,
Holding me close,
Gone with the stone.

For now,
Just hold me,
And whisper the lie,
I dread to hear,
That fateful goodbye.

A little longer,
In this embrace,
Just a little longer,
Pretence awaits.

I know you will leave,
Like others have,
In forgotten remembrance,
I still haunt them.

A little while longer, Love,
Do not leave me yet,
Just a little while longer,
And then we can forget.

And then, I woke up.
