Demands For A Retreat Poem by james watkin

Demands For A Retreat

Restful, for that lack of
Noisy discomfort
In lounging wants, inside as out
First spoke up about.

Demands of the nerve-spent!
If not, home-stablished
Then the nearest eye-opener
Sleepy town's offer
Be it, whilst still unnerved
Into that, tide-swished
Dangling, when off whose new world views
Ears, soaking, anoint!
