Departure - Poem by Joey Johnston

As I walk that walk
All I can think is where are you at
I hear you loud and clear just talk
Your there and I know that
But tomorrow will you be there
By chance you'll be long gone
You'll vanish into thin air
Missing it all you'll move on
Your the only one there is no spare
I will miss you dearly
You may not be my love but I love you
You've gone away and i will miss you sincerely
I remember those funny things we used to do
We laughed till we cried
We Cried till we laughed
Now the distance between us is so wide
To get you back i would travel the ocean on a small raft
You may not be my soul mate
Your my true friend
Losing you is something I dread and hate
All our time together was well spent
I miss you already
Your haven't even gone
Losing you is something i'll never be ready for
All the hard times that we've undergone
Make us brothers not by blood
But brothers by heart
We have gotten dirty in life's mud
I never want you to depart
Always remember me
Because I will never forget you
Your My Friend for Life and I know you agree
Every time I think of losing you I cry
Every time I think of loosing you a little part dies
You know I love you dearly
You’re my friend clearly
