Devience - Poem by Gordon Jerome

I long to hold you in my arms
And chase away your fears
Shield you from this world of harms
And dry away your tears
Illuminate your darkest night
Guard your every dream
Be the bearer of loves light
A strong and warming beam
Let us seek a life to share
Wrapped within each other
Doing things we seldom dare
As we explore each one another.
“closing thought”
To taste ones essence you must search within
And yet to know one truly they must let you in
