Distraction Poem by Rosalyn Grohol

Distraction

Give me a distraction
I don't want to think
Something I could look at
Something I could drink

Give me a distraction
Something to fill the hole
Something I could focus on
Something I control

Give me a distraction
From this person I've become
Give me a distraction
I just to feel numb

Give me a distraction
I don't want to feel
I don't want to face
Everything that's real
